  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice the carrots into “coins” and toss them with the olive oil, Montreal seasoning, cumin, and garlic powder.
  3. Spread the carrots on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  4. Serve the carrots warm with fresh basil.
Recipe Notes

Montreal seasoning is a steak seasoning salt with lots of pepper and smoky salt. If you don’t have it, just add salt and pepper to your liking.
