  1. Heat about 1 1/2 cups of water until boiling. Pour the water over the dates, cover, and rest for at least five minutes, until the dates are soft. Drain the water and place the dates in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the hazelnuts, cocoa powder, nut milk (I used almond), and coconut oil to the dates. Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and forms a homogeneous lump.
  3. Roll the mixture into 12-16 balls, depending on your preference. Roll the balls in extra cocoa powder, if desired. Enjoy!
