Add all of the nuts and seeds to a blender or food processor. Pulse the blender until all of the nuts have broken down into small chunks.
Add the salt, cocoa powder, and contents of chai teabag. Pulse again to combine.
Add the egg, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup to the food processor. Pulse one more time to combine.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat baking sheet. Spread out the granola bar mixture until it is a little less than a centimeter thick.
Bake the granola bars in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until brown and crisp. Slice the granola bars immediately after removing them from oven, and allow them to cool completely before storing and/or eating.
Chocolate chips would be delicious in these granola bars!
