Avocado Toast 3 Ways is the perfect breakfast, lunch, snack, or even dinner!
Seriously, it is. That wasn’t just a catchy tagline. Avocado toast is the biggest thing since sliced bread . . . see what I did there? When my vegetarian friend asked me to make avocado toast for the blog, I jumped at the chance.
I knew I wanted to make a few different types of toast, so I brainstormed a few flavor profiles. We’ve got the classic toast, with avo, red chili flakes, lemon juice, olive oil, salt & pepper, and some fresh cherry tomatoes (on crunchy gluten-free bread, of course). Then, we’ve got the runny-yolked egg toast (always delicious). Finally, we’ve got the Everything Bagel Avocado Toast: Toasted GF bread with a generous smear of cream cheese (dairy-free if needed), avocado slices, and Everything Bagel seasoning. What more could you ask for?
The only way to make avocado toast even more awesome is to provide three different ways to make it in one blog post! Hence, Avocado Toast 3 Ways. Ta-da!
I mean, just look at that yolk. Come on.
Speaking of runny yolks, here’s how I make the perfect fried eggs every time. A fried egg just isn’t worth eating if it doesn’t have a runny yolk . . . in my humble opinion. Overcooked egg yolks are my pet peeve.
One of my other pet peeves is indecisiveness, which I have an overabundance of when I make all three of these avocado toasts. You know what I do to solve that problem?
I eat all three.
One of the funnest parts of making avocado toast (for me, at least) is artfully cutting my avocados into roses or fans or what-have-you. I even made an avocado salad bowl once . . . that was SO FUN!! Speaking of which, here’s the tutorial. I would pin it for future reference if I were you! It makes even the most boring salad taste amazing! Then again, doesn’t avocado make every boring salad taste amazing? I think so.
Which avocado toast would you choose?
- The Classic
- The Fried Egg
- The Everything Bagel
You can’t go wrong! They’re all Paleo (if you use Paleo bread and almond milk cream cheese), gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and DELICIOUS! Two out of three are vegan, too! Making avocado toast 3 ways ensures that you have plenty of options, whether you’re serving toast to a crowd or just to yourself.
If I were you, I’d eat them all myself.
